Goan fashion designer Verma D’mello describes her ethnic bridal collection as traditional but with a colonial and gothic twist. The twist, however, is that the gothic and colonial twist indicates the strength of a woman. The lehengas in traditional Indian bridal colours with a fine dose of copper and gold were adorned with heavy embellishments and accessories. Gurpreet speaks to designer Verma D’mello on the inspirations and influences on her garments. Take a look.
