Ramesh Dembla, Bangalore based designer showcased his collection ‘Couture Oceana’, taking inspiration from the colours of the ocean, Ramesh added his trademark styles of layering and embellishments with sequence to his garments. He also tried to give an Indo-western feel to his garments. The collection tried to show the ripples created by the water body when the moonlight hits them. The collection comprises sarees, shirts and sherwani for men. The highlight of the show was the showstoppers, Dino Morea and Arunoday Singh. Thashika speaks to the designer about his drift from his favourite colour black and on his collection ‘Couture Oceana’.
