Rina Dhaka’s Winter Story
April 18, 2015
Unfolding winter story on the ramp was couturier Rina Dhaka whose collection graduated from shadow to light at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2015. The collection boasts of box-like asymmetrical designs all caught in embroideries with vivid use of classic checks, stripes, spider weaves, leaves and ikat like patterns. Dhaka’s range is a treat with ample layering and an element of abstract adding the surprise factor in each outfit. She has given the much-hyped 3D effect to her garments apart from shadowing or geometric embroidered linear patterns. The shade card ranged from nude, blue, charcoal black and plum with fabrics like lace, cotton, stretchy fabric, velvet, satin with handwork, cut-work, patch work. The streak of light came with colours like pink, purple and red in her line.  Vyomha brings you the winter magic straight from the runway.
